Monty was a darling cat , may I say one of the most demanding cats I have ever known to keep on and on at me until he got through to me what it was he wanted. His different 'meows' could speak volumes at times.
He loved the rain outside when it was lashing down, loved to get soaking wet. Monty had beds in every room, he took turns in occupying, it didnt matter if it was on top of my printer where upon he would get down from that, walk accross my keyboard to eat his food which laid at the side of the keyboard in my craft room. I let him get away with it because he was ill and we didnt know how much longer he was going to be with us. Like most pedigree cats 'curiosity' was the main word, when I came home he would check to see if there was anything for him in the bags and useually there was, chicken or fish or a new brand of cat food out. When it was time for bed, Mont would run up the stairs into the bedroom and stand by his favourite rubber grooming brush, he got groomed every night and sometimes got a wash with a wet flannel and a groom too. He'd only got three teeth so the brushing helped him greatly. Now he has gone to his Felion resting place in the sky. He will be missed and never forgotten.
I have everything to thank my Mintlaw Vet Surgery for keeping Mont going as long as they did.

'Monty' Shaw
'Sam' Hood
Sam was the much loved companion to Sandy for over 9 years. Sandy had health problems which made lifting and carrying difficult, and in recent months, Sam would accompany his owner to several shops in Peterhead and Aberdeen, rigged out in his special doggy rucksack, and helping to carry shopping home, a task which he loved. Every evening, Sam would play 'hunt the banana' round the house, and as a reward, the banana would be shared between Sam and Sandy. Sadly, recent x-rays showed a mass in Sam's chest and he passed away after his last few days of tender loving care at home. He will leave a big gap, and new dog 'Charlie' will have some very big doggy shoes to fill!
'Beckie' Clayton
(Beckie Marise of Valgray)
Aged approximately 17 years 2 months
Beckie was rescued by Martin at an agility show - he had always wanted a border collie. She fitted in well with our other 4 rescues, always the one to wash their ears and mother them - the dogs in the pack changed over time and she was always there to look after them.
Beckie was a quiet girl except at agility where she screamed in excitement when competing. She started well but health issues and operations left scar tissue which affected her jumping but later she got to do Veteran Classes, making many friends, picking up numerous rosettes and trophies and really enjoying herself.
Beckie was a fighter (surviving strokes and fits) but her time came on 19th April 2012 when she was given eternal sleep as we felt her quality of life had gone (although she still knew when it was meal time).
Sleep peacefully with Sam, Jessie, Corrie and Robbie our darling girl, we miss you so much and you have left a major hole in our lives.
